Desire and Creation in the Sacral Chakra
Every once in a while, I love to pull one fractal, of the larger curriculum in SkyDancer, to give you all a taste of what we are dancing with as Venus Moves through her Evolutionary Cycle. It is so rich. What we do, is pull from Venus’ current Astrology, and synthesize the specific lessons she is beaming down to us.
In honor of The Venus Mars conjunction in Aquarius, I’d love to offer this practice.
In this teaching we are working with the Archetypes of the Sacred Prostitute, (Venus) Masculine Energy. (Mars, Will to Act) and Aquarius (The Cosmos), and providing a Map for Creating with the Evolutionary Energies in the Sacral Chakra.
In our SkyDancer Deepening call this month, I spoke a bit about the Call and Response function with the World/Cosmos. And “Desire’s” important place there. How following the thread of Desire grows us into the biggest version of ourselves. Below find a link to the video I mentioned.

I’ve found it is more powerful for me to find my way to a recording device to capture them, rather than worry about “hair, makeup, lighting, or background being perfect). Plus, I’m playing with my own capacity to be seen everywhere, letting go of masks and attachments to perfection.)
After Listening, What I’d love for you to imagine, or play with, is this idea of “Creating WITH Life”, creating with the universe, creating with the stars, creating with Eros. In that everything that comes up in our experience and awareness is “courting us”. It is inviting us even more deeply into our lives, or down our path… (however you’d like to imagine that)
Imagine that each unexpected bill, each unexpected car problem, each unexpected thing, is an opportunity to respond. In In the Sacral Chakra “Response-ability” is one of our frequencies.
But here in the Sacral Chakra it’s not responsibility like sober maturity. It’s the ability to respond - creatively.
So as you are watching the video linked at the button above, tune into the courtly love between Venus and Mars and the dynamic of the Sacred Prostitute, see if you can map that onto the Universe. (Aquarius) In that all of our experiences become Venus inviting us to meet them artfully. And we are little “Mars” who act on these invitations.
In a sense, this metaphorical invitation is a way to work deeply with inner Heiros Gamos. Which is definitely a Venus Mars Signature.
How why does this matter? We are world in fall, on the brink, in the dark. It feels like we are so close to breakthrough, but we just we have so few adequate, real-life, leaders and mentors, who are truly dreaming into what a new world can look like. We know peace and change start within us. So in the absence of real leadership, Archetypes can be a stand in guide for us.

In essence with this practice, we are making life, and the cosmos, the archetype of the Fisher King, and responding as the “Sacred Prostitute” who can serpent charm, or make love to any situation that comes our way.
There have been many theories about the Holy Grail. In my spiritual ethos, the Holy Grail IS the sacred feminine, the temple priestess, who initiates the King, into the greening of the heart, the realm of beauty, and the vitality of the dance of fertility.
