Forgiveness

Forgiveness

Over the course of my life, I’ve had to forgive numerous people, for transgressions too horrible to name. I’ve had to forgive people in and around my son’s death. People that supported his misaligned habits, and didn’t support his growth. I’ve had to forgive abuses, violations, and betrayals. Physical, Emotional, and Sexual. Then there are the daily transgressions, a slight from a family member, or judgments towards myself.

By far, The hardest has been Forgiving myself, and God.

When I say I had to forgive, I mean it. There is no choice but to forgive. Harboring anger, resentment, and fear towards ourselves or others, is no way to live. Forgiveness returns us to our natural state, allowing us to regain our personal power.

When lived as a daily spiritual practice, forgiveness is not simply an act of “morality” or emotional relief, it is a path of awakening. It asks us to enter into direct relationship with the energy of love itself, to move through the dense layers of fear, resentment, and guilt that veil our natural state of wholeness.

Forgiveness allows us to live in alignment with our own internal values.

When we withhold forgiveness, our energy remains tied to the past. We stay entangled in the actions, words, and dynamics that hurt us. Every resentment, every judgment, every unhealed memory becomes a cord of attachment, an invisible thread through which our life force continues to leak. In that state, the very person or situation that hurt still governs our inner world. We give away our power without realizing it.

Forgiveness severs that energetic cord to the past. It is the act of calling our power home. When we forgive, we are not excusing what happened, we are releasing our identification with the role of the wounded one. We are saying, You no longer define me. My energy belongs to me now. And yes, sometimes we have to forgive again and again, in a spiral. Each time, we reclaim a splintered piece of ourselves.

People often ask me how I’ve weathered these storms, and I can honestly say it’s my Forgiveness practice. It’s the refusal to harbor resentment. It’s not a bypass, in that I don't feel the burn of the hurt caused. It's that I lift the burning hurt up to love. Each and every thread. I remember my innocence as the hurt moves through me.

It’s also about knowing when forgiveness is the medicine, vs bypass. Forgiving prematurely can cause us harm. I have lived a deep lesson in this exact experience that I am keen to share with you.

Come the New Year, we are going to dive into the “Art of Forgiveness as a Spiritual Practice”. We will turn forgiveness inside out and look why this seemingly passive act is so deeply powerful. It clears the slate and makes room for us to live courageously and authentically.

The Details &Supporting Astrology

I love to teach/explore what aligns with the Star Story. Which means the Star Story is naturally supports the work we will be doing. We are in a time of letting go with the New Year upon us and Venus in the Underworld.

Forgiveness as a Spiritual Act" will be a transformative way to enter 2026. This year that Chiron finally moves into Taurus, a sign ruled by Venus. Chiron in Taurus Governs how we have somatized our life experiences. The history that lives in the body. The title of the book by Bessel Van Der Kolk, “The Body Keeps the Score” is a great way to sum up what Chiron in Taurus is all about. In this series we will explore how forgiveness shifts not only our mental space, but also how it energetically shifts the soma, allowing for deeper embodiment.

In addition, all of the Outer Planets will be changing signs. Which means, Astrologically we are turning over a powerful new leaf, and it’s important to close out these open cords so we can move confidently into this new era. We are moving from a time of “Water and Earth” to a time of “Fire and Air”. “Water and Earth” signs contain a lot of emotional residue. Residue that we want to transform before entering this new energetic environment.

We begin our journey on January 6th, the day of the Venus-Sun-Underworld conjunction in Capricorn. We meet for four consecutive, weeks looking at the themes of Forgiveness, Atonement, (seeking Forgiveness) and the Empowerments of the Underworld. I expect this will be an intimate experience full of revelation, healing, and fellowship.

*I intend for this to be a sacred space where participants are invited to share their deepest, most heartfelt, emotions. Please be aware of this before signing up. People may share stories of past traumas or transgressions that we will hold collectively in a non-judgmental, and uplifting space that returns everything to love. Sometimes participants are speaking these things for the very first time. I intend for this space that invites and welcomes this level of sharing.
