It is clear to me that I am here to transmute Karmic & Ancestral patterns that originated in the oppressive age of the “proper lady”.
When women wore high collared dresses, and were covered from foot to chin in uncomfortable fabric, suffocating our skin.
Entirely reliant on being chosen by a man to survive.
Bound and mummified by expectation.
The buttoned lip, and tight laced corset.
The chastity belt, and chaperoned existence.
I sense the rigid limitation woven into my cells by high society etiquette.
A mythic storyline stitched into my bones.
For so long, I didn’t know what this sense of alienation from my body was or how to extricate myself from it.
My spiritual practice hasn’t been some light, fluffy, candle lit path.
It’s been a deep and messy road of unwinding all that these Karmic & Ancestral themes have seeded in my body, through countless generations.
To have access to my astrology practice in this exploration has been a priceless tool.
Laying the breadcrumbs along my journey of cultivating inner gnosis.
Each year helping me excise another layer, and untie more of the knots tangled within my psyche.
Illuminating what still obstructs my liberation.
Layer after layer I unraveled. And that unraveling has been so necessary.
It razed the ground so that I could finally build upon something solid.
Now I get show up everyday as an existential detective and trust that there is a greater mystery unfolding.
I have access to a living, breathing, interactive map, an entry point to work with my own Archetypal Matrix.
It’s made the path of self discovery pleasurable and thrilling.
The planets have deep resonance within the body. I can feel the quality of each activation and know what archetypal story is asking to be acknowledged and healed.
