VENUS RULES….
Our capacity to be human. Like really human.
After the call Crystal and I stayed on to chat, continuing to follow a deep thread that arose in a previous conversation.
One of the things I noted is “that while spiritual work, and uncovering the mysteries of the universe is interesting and important, I have to marry that to the exploration of “what it is to be human, to be in this body, and alive at this time.”
Because it is in my humanity that my innocence and essence reside.

To have been born at all is truly a miracle. The capacity to love is uniquely human. It is the thing that technology, AI, and all of the futuristic ideals that the Age of Aquarius promises, cannot replicate. Love is what animates us and ensures future generations.
This is the crux of the Venus work. IT IS ABOUT US/ And our RELATIONSHIP TO IT ALL. Open hearted, turned on, and fully alive with the capacity, maturity, and response-ability, to meet whatever arises.
Yet so many of us find it deeply uncomfortable to inhabit certain aspects of our humanity. Thus lacking a complete and embodied “self-love.”
For years, I tried on different costumes and archetypes, hoping that they would fit. Often thinking the answers lay somewhere “out there” rather than “in here.” It wasn’t until I stopped looking to “add” or “subtract” something, that I finally felt at home in my body AND soul.
I needed to do the deeper work.
What would it mean to be in radical approval of ourselves and our experience? To own all parts of our life, even the parts that don’t meet our preferences? The aspects of our reality that appear as bad or negative, that cause pain and heartache? This doesn’t mean never calling out hurt, negativity, wrongdoing, or evil. It means the capacity to acknowledge its existence, meet it, and potentially transform it.
What kind of power would this give us? To not need to escape reality, but rather to be profoundly engaged with it?
To love, to long, to desire, to emote, to meet, to attune, to cohere, our ability to move based on our sensory perception, these are *some of the qualities of Venus.
She rules our embodied experience. She is the principle of love and relationship. Without the capacity to be in relationship with ourselves, others, and ultimately the world, we truly miss the experience of being alive.
We can use our Birth Chart, and Astrology to begin to these answer these questions. But to truly reclaim and anchor is a deeper level of work.
SkyDancer was designed as a practice mat, and a Mysterium. We go further than just the chart, by utilizing the Chakras (as dictated by the Venus Cycle) to create Coherence in the body. As above, So Below. As within, So Without.
When the body is aligned with our soul, (the innermost part of us that connects with the divine/universe) we are able to relate to the world through an authentic expression of our deepest truth.
Living as the full expression of our Deepest Truth, is the highest service we can offer the planet.
It is how we begin to anchor a new paradigm, or a “New Earth” that is in devotion to love.
Losing my son has brought what really matters into the foreground. It’s as though I had a wide aperture, a panoramic view of the world before he left. His loss has refocused my aperture.
Asked me to zoom in tight on the essentials. What matters most is simple, yet profound. LOVE.
How do I love cleanly, clearly? How do I show up as love? What is my style or flavor of connection?

The assignment…align with, and live out the expression of my deepest truth, without abandoning it.
This is a tall order, and it takes practice.
Take a moment to feel into where a lot of our anger and frustration is sourced. Often, we can trace the seed back to a place we abandoned ourselves. Where we failed to live into our values. Or we perceived that we are being asked (or forced) to move out of alignment with our soul.
Instead of meeting ourselves in these moments with love and approval for our humanity, we judge ourselves harshly. Creating loops of guilt and shame that become crystallized. We then package that crystallized pocket of disapproval, and attempt to remove it from our awareness. This process is a form of abandonment. We’ve left a piece of our innocence behind.
Reclaiming and reintegrating these exiled pieces, loving all parts of ourselves back into wholeness and coherence is Venus work.
Everything else is sourced from this spot of innocence and wholeness. It is the place from which we transmit our unique frequency. The “why” behind our incarnation. Where our service and devotion live. Where we give birth to ourselves as Priestesses/Cosmic Creatrix.
It is in cultivating the capacity to first serve self, that we are able to serve others.
