Honoring the Alchemy of the Venus Gateways of both Descent and Ascension help us build context around our personal evolutionary journey. On February 10th Venus Meets with the Moon at 5:10 pm Est and conjuncts Jupiter to pass through the Earth Star Chakra Gateway. All of the energy has shifted now from Capricorn, which showed us what was and wasnβt working, both on a collective, and personal level, into Aquarius which is going to show us what we are moving towards. It is this tension between the old and the new, the past and the future, attachment or authenticity, being bound to karma, or liberated from it, that defines the current paradoxical nature of reality.
Aquarius is ruled traditionally by Saturn and in Modern Astrology by Uranus. In Mythology Uranus is Saturnβs father. Their story climaxes in an epic power struggle with Saturn overthrowing Uranus to usher in a Karmic Golden Age. This Karmic age gave everyone exactly what they deserved, but took away much of the peopleβs free will. Before the Golden Age, Uranus the God of Heaven, was partner to Gaia, the Goddess of earth. The Aquarian woman is an edgewalker between creating heaven on earth, while fiercely protecting the sovereignty and free will of all beings.
Aquarius draws down the emotionless super conscious of heaven to meet the warm, receptive, 3-D earth. Together, in synthesis, we can think of them as βmatter coalescing around frequencyβ. They usher in a new reality, an upgrade in dimensionality, entirely new thought forms, empathy, compassion, and help us master fearlessness in love. Working with Aquarius energy can help us peel back all that isnβt in our primal nature revealing our authentic self. The journey to Individuation and sovereignty leads us to answer only to a higher power. Releasing us from the bonds of βthe gameβ. From the expectations of society. Self actualized enough to accept the consequences that come along with following the path of liberation. The shadow side of this is, being motivated by the need to be likeable, making us easily controlled because feelings of safety and security are always tied into social currency.
The Aquarian woman is an activist. She is concerned with the collective, the underclasses, equity and justice, futuristic pursuits, the humanities, and helping every human rise. Aquarians are the innovative visionaries of the zodiac and those choosing to embody her, carry the banner of revolution as they lead us to a new frontier.
The Venus Moon Earth Star Chakra gateway taking place in Aquarius is significant. It is asking us to wake up by going down and in. The Earth Star Chakra connects oneβs personal energy (and thereby all of oneβs bodily chakras) to the crystalline core of the earth. Not just to the earth below our feet, but to the very center of our existence. It is from this point that the celestial movements of the cosmos are measured. Humanity's point of unity. Connection to the earth star chakra, allows for feelings of groundedness, stability, and wholeness. Aquarius connects our energy body to the heavens and the outer boundaries of the solar system. The danger of embodying this Aquarian energy is that it all percolates upwards and culminates in our intellectual/mental body. Keeping our mind over stimulated, and overly mobile, which can lead to a Vata imbalance in the body whereby we become anxious and brittle. This month while so much activity is culminating in one area of our chart, itβs imperative to stay embodied and connected to our personal power. With Jupiter at this Gateway, all of these energies will be supersized so being anchored is absolutely essential. The opportunity of existing across the polarities of heaven and earth at this exact time is that we can travel into the core of our being and rediscover our seed of potential and plant it.
